Description:

Khalifa University, in collaboration with the College of Computing and Mathematical Sciences, invites applications for multiple open-rank faculty positions at the levels of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Full Professor within the Department of Computer and Information Engineering. The successful candidates will be expected to contribute to the advancement of the department’s research and educational initiatives in foundational and emerging areas of computer engineering, including, but not limited to, the following fields:

1. Networking
2. Robotics
3. Digital design and FPGA prototyping
4. Neuromorphic computing and hardware accelerators for AI.
5. Quantum computing.

Required Qualifications:

1. Ph.D. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
2. Record of excellence in research that is commensurate with the applicant’s academic career history.
3. Record of excellence in teaching as appropriate to the applicant’s academic experience.

4. Record of successful graduate student supervision.
5. Record of success in securing and managing funded research projects.

 Additional Qualifications:

1. Outstanding publication record in top journals and conferences in the applicant’s areas of research interests.
2. Outstanding communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and commitment to a career of academic excellence and innovation.
3. Demonstrated commitment to curriculum development and innovation in university education.
4. Demonstrated interest in entrepreneurship and technology transfer.
